Elizabeth R. Arnone joined Zausmer, Kaufman, August & Caldwell, P.C. in December 2011. Her practice is focused on commercial litigation and insurance defense. Prior to joining the firm, she was a member of a Detroit-based law firm that concentrates its practice on professional liability defense matters, practicing on a medical malpractice defense team.
Ms. Arnone received her Bachelor's Degree from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University and earned her J.D. at the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law in 2011, graduating Cum Laude. While in law school she served as a board member of the Moot Court Board of Advocates where she competed in national appellate competitions.
Ms. Arnone gained extensive experience working as a law clerk for an insurance defense firm that focuses its practice on first and third party auto claims and premises and general liability matters. She also served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Robert J. Colombo, Jr., of the Wayne County Circuit bench.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Arnone worked as a global marketing specialist for a Fortune Global 500 company in Chicago. She gained valuable experience as a member of the advertising team that implemented its global image campaign across 35 countries worldwide, as well the company's recruitment and sponsorship advertising programs.
Ms. Arnone was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in October 2011.
